This page showcases designs from freelance and personal work I did for t-shirts.
Long Lake Summer 2023
I was approached with the goal to make a graphic for people that live on Long Lake in Clear Lake, MN. Every year they have a celebration and shirts are designed, but the quality wasn't matching with what my clients wanted. They were looking for something that stood out and wasn't a generic stock image with lazily done letters. Armed with that mission, I wanted to make something unique, eye-catching, and worthy of exemplifying quality to those who will be getting the shirts. Have a fun and relaxing summer on the lake, hopefully you will be enjoying the day with this shirt on, cool drinks in hand and your                                   friends and loved ones close by.
3 AMIGOS
This is a shirt design for the robotics team by the name of 3 Amigos. It was a fairly open-ended design prompt; to make something eye-catching but not too detailed or busy. I decided to tackle it by referencing a vintage toy robot to give the design a familiar feel, but then incorporate a gear sombrero to tie it back to the name and to the machine element.
Chaos Motorsports MINNEWASKA MAYHEM
This is a project for a Demolition Derby in Minnewaska, Minnesota. The theme was to make it entertaining and cool to look at. We settled on the concept of the logo being a helmeted skull in the silhouette of the shape of the state of Minnesota, with a wolf character on the back as a reference to Fenrir Wolf of Norse Mythology and a design nod to Rat Fink by artist Ed "Big Daddy" Roth.
Cicely Davis Campaign
This design was an illustration of Cicely Davis as a superhero with a style that is a callback to the G.I. Joe American Hero toy line that was released in the 80s and 90s. This was meant as a reference that people that were children in that time period would be able to recognize and see that this candidate for Minnesota Senate is the one for them.
Memorial Day 2022 Lannes Fishing Trip
This is a shirt design for my family and our annual Memorial Day fishing trip.
