Dragon Ball Fan-Boy
This is a commission for a client's partner to surprise them for their Birthday. They wanted an illustration that showcased their partner's favorite characters from their favorite cartoons from the 90's when they were a kid, especially Teen Gohan. Being a huge fan myself, I wanted to create an amalgamation of Dragon Ball Z and Batman the Animated Series, with characters and items from Pokemon and Digimon interspersed within. The goal with this piece was to create something visually stimulating and unique that would stand as a love letter to a 90's Kid Nostalgia by creating a shared universe where these characters interact and because of that different events and fights have taken place, all of which has led to this moment.
